DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS

The office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is established in terms of Section 162 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Swaziland read together with the Public Prosecutions Order of 1973.

The office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has ten (10) specialized units as follows:

1)  The General Crimes Unit.

2)  The Anti-Corruption Unit

3)  The Fraud and Transnational Crimes Unit

4)  The Domestic and Sexual Offences Unit

5)  Extradition and Mutual Legal Assistance Unit

6)  Organized Crime Unit

7)  Stock Theft, Game and Flora Unit

8)  Asset Forfeiture Unit

9)  Cyber Crime and Cyber Security Unit

10)  Drugs Enforcement Unit

-To direct prosecutions for the Crown in all criminal actions
