Hon. Minister Mabulala Maseko Profile

The Minister of Public Service, Honourable Mabulala Maseko, is an experienced politician, now serving a third consecutive term as an elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Maphalaleni Inkhundla.

Honourable Maseko is also a qualified teacher, holding a Bachelor of Education degree from the then University of Swaziland (now Eswatini) which he obtained in 2009 as well as a Secondary Teachers' Diploma obtained from William Pitcher College in 1994. He began his teaching career shortly after competing at William Pitcher, joining Dvwalile High School. During his time at the school, he served as Head of Department, Sports teacher, and eventually as Deputy Head Teacher. In 2010, Honourable Maseko was promoted to be Head Teacher of Ekuvinjelweni High School, in the Hhohho region of Eswatini.

The Honourable Minister held that role until 2013, when he was elected as MP for Maphalaleni Inkhundla. He went on to win elections again under the same constituency in 2018. In August 2021, His Majesty King Mswati III appointed Honourable Maseko as Minister of Public Service. The Honourable Minister won elections for a third consecutive term in September 2023. Then, on 13 November 2023, His Majesty reappointed Honourable Maseko for another term as Minister of Public Service.

Honourable Maseko has also worked with the Central Statistical Office, serving as Area Manager in 1997, as well as the Elections and Boundaries Commission as Polling Officer in 1998.
